We are looking for a Marketing and Brand Director (m/f/x) to take responsibility for our global marketing and branding activities.

Your tasks

Work with the CEO as part of the leadership group
Plan and manage marketing budget to optimize for short and long term ROI
Implement, monitor and continuously refine a comprehensive marketing strategy in order to drive profitable growth across our brands, maximize ROI and amplify brand visibility
Obtain ownership for our brands’ global product strategy, with a goal to innovate, improve customer lifetime value and grab category landmark whilst continuously increasing margins
Lead and enable our various marketing teams in steering their channels towards global KPIs, thereby fostering strong communities, deep influencer relations, high customer retention and a compelling brand reputation across European markets
Utilize analytics and data-driven insights to optimize channel strategies and drive continuous improvement into marketing operations
Present regular reports and be a sparring partner to the executive team, highlighting successes and areas for growth. Foster the implementation of various cross-departmental key projects in order to seek for ongoing optimization and innovation of our marketing mix

Your profile

10+ years of proven marketing success in a fast growing, international B2C
business, ideally in a D2C startup environment
Holistic experience in marketing strategy and hands-on operational execution,
particularly within performance marketing, influencer marketing, CRM and social
media
Strong storytelling and brand positioning abilities with a particular passion for
physical products, ideally in the home & living space. Prior experience in product
management is a plus
Strong leadership, team-building and cross-functional management skills, with an
ability to set a strong vision and lead by example
Strong focus on and proficiency with key marketing metrics. Ability to model,
interpret and predict business performance
High comfort with taking and challenging investment choices, strong ability to
take data-driven decisions
Strong work ethic, collaborative and supportive with high empathy and integrity.
Comfortable in a fast moving environment with a hands-on attitude and strong
result orientation
Fluency in English, German native speaking skills are a plus
Open to working from the Berlin office at least 3 x days a week
